Many of us enjoy and keep coming back to yoga - feeling strong and being able to move in a wide range of directions with ease feels good and can provide a feeling of control and agency.
Like any movement discipline it can be enjoyable to learn new poses, techniques and skills - and sometimes playing is just fun!
In this workshop we will explore what movements may be useful to warm up into arm balances, how and where to build strength, ways to support the shapes and techniques that may make the poses easier.
The poses we will work with are:
- Crow, crane (Bakasana)
- Side crow (Parsva Bakasana)
- Eka Pada Koundinyasana I
- 8 Angle pose (Astavakrasana).
